For professionals working with clients divorcing in their later years, understanding the unique needs and challenges of “grey divorce” is essential. In May 2019, Collaborative Divorce Vancouver will host “Older and Wiser: The Phenomenon of Grey Divorce”, a two-day, multi-disciplinary conference designed for any professional helping mature families navigate the separation and divorce process, including family lawyers, estate lawyers, mediators, Collaborative practitioners, mental health professionals, and financial specialists. The event, co-organized by Connect lawyer and mediator Rebecca Stanley, offers an excellent opportunity to share best practices, build competence, and network with local practitioners and experts.

And on Day 2 of the conference (May 24 at 1:20 pm), make sure to join presenter Leisha Murphy, co-Founder and lawyer at Connect, as she shares her expertise on the timely and relevant topic “Re-Partnering and Marriage Agreements”.

About Leisha Murphy

(she/her)
Partner/Mediator – Vancouver

After being a family lawyer for over 13 years, coupled with my own personal experience with divorce, I have come to understand the difficult transition that comes with the end of a relationship. This experience has put me in the unique position of being able to provide clients with a clear picture of what is to come and how to plan for it. As well as provide clients with guidance and education on how to deal with the day-to-day realities of a separation.
