Connect Family Law invites you to be a part of its ongoing Divorce Salons, a resource for individuals dealing with separation or divorce. Combining the best of a speaker series and a meet-up group, our Divorce Salons offer participants both a learning opportunity and the chance to connect with others who are going through similar experiences.
For our inaugural Salon in Kelowna, happening June 6, we are pleased to welcome Child & Family Therapist Jody Bekhuys, M.Ed, R.C.C.
The Salon will focus on topics of interest to parents going through separation or divorce. Jody will explain the "Divorce Rules" and consider the questions most often asked by divorcing parents when they first meet with her, namely:

About the Presenter:
Jody holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria. She works with both individuals and families using a variety of counselling modalities including play and expressive therapy, and supports her clients on a wide range of issues, including divorce and separation, parenting, trauma and attachment, and emotional regulation. As Divorce Salon discussions are designed to be confidential, we will ask participants to sign a brief confidentiality document before the event. We will also complete a conflict check at the time of registration to rule out any possible conflicts of interest.
